GAP jeans my new summer hero

I love designer jeans and always check out good deals online and during the sales. The Outnet.com is an excellent site to follow.

For a long time I have been wanting fitted light blue jeans from J Brand from the Outnet.com, but as I passed the Gap over the weekend, I found an identical jean cheaper and with 50% off on top! They are home with me now and are so cool and perfect for the summer.

I also stocked up with new GAP t shirts in bright summer colours such as Raspberry, Honey Melon and Sun Yellow stripes. They were also on sale too with 75% off, another bargain...thank you GAP...lol

I can't wait to mix with my Black Alexander Wang heels and Chloe sun glasses to go to the office or perhaps out for a coffee with the girls...

I sneaked in new striped COS socks in case I need my flats out going home...

Go find your bargain, I'm sure it's near you somewhere.

Enjoy,

Liberty printed dress and knitted jacket

New Spring 14 girl outfit

It's hard to resist not to show off my latest creation for my daughter. It took me about a year to knit and stitch together but here it is, a perfect spring jacket and my daughter looks amazing wearing her Liberty printed dress from Lily Rose and Angulus Chelsea boots with it.

For those who don't know yet, knitting makes you relaxed and releases stress, so I'm grateful that my mum and auntie taught me.

The linen and cotton yarn is from Rowan and buttons from Liberty. The satin silk ribbon is from the famous shop V V rouleaux and it's double face so it looks soft and shiny from both sides when you tie the bow on the back.

Get started it's never too late to start knitting...

If so then just enjoy mine...

Enjoy,

Vintage outfit from LA

It's time to show my vintage LA outfit

During my trip to LA end of last year, I was lucky to stumble upon a flee market at the local high school Fairfax of Melrose Avenue. Read more about this in my previous post!

At the fair I bought two simple things, that can easily match pieces from my existing wardrobe and accessories. I also think it has a typical LA look. The weather is always warm in LA, so I guess, I really can't call my buy for a winter outfit, but I have decided to wear the things together with my favourite winter boots from Isabel Marant. So why not call it my Spring LA vintage outfit!

First thing I bought was the vintage army shirt. This is the original thing and it will last forever!

The second thing I bought, which is my favourite, is a short sleeve dress in the cutest Pink print! The fabric is a basic Polyester fabric, but I love the print so much and don't mind the synthetic fabric!

As a complete outfit I will add my heart gold necklace from Jane Konig (I'm sharing this with my mum, thanks mum!), knitted belt from Isabel Marant, winter suede boots from Isabel Marant and finally my Mulberry Gold clutch! Now I wish, I was in LA! Why not top of the outfit with Red lipstick and nails from Tom Ford!

Accessories with my final Vintage outfit

LA here I'm coming back..

Vintage is for all seasons Summer, Spring, Autumn and Winter!

LA Flea market

Another cool flea market visit!

I absolutely love flea markets, because vintage gives you great inspiration for work, and it takes you back to different time periods. Vintage in LA is great, because you can find lots of Ball room gowns and Hollywood creations! I found a few more casual pieces, that I will post shortly!
It was my first time visiting a LA flea market, and it was great. The warm makes you instantly relaxed, I guess this is the famous LA vibe! I took a few pictures, and hope that these give you an idea, of what a small LA flea market is like and the crowd!

 Lot's of small stalls!

Great interior stuff too!

 LA do have sweaters!

Lot's of boots to give you the relaxed LA look!

The flea market was hosted on the grounds of Fairfield high school, which is of Melrose Avenue. There are also lots of local vintage shops on this part of Melrose Avenue, that are fun and have great deals!

We were lucky to also get authentic Mexican soft tacos, before they were sold out, for lunch after working up an appetite from the shopping and walking.

It was a great experience, and I get why people love LA, who doesn't like warm weather, being relaxed and some cool vintage shopping!

My LA vintage flea market post is coming next!

Flee markets are a must all year around and anywhere in the world!

Find them near you!

Enjoy and Happy Holiday,

Aesop is my new sweetheart!

Fabulous face products that have won my heart!

Have you ever walked into a shop, and felt like you were in wonderland and found it really difficult to leave!

This was my experience, when I walked into the Aesop skin care shop in New York a few weeks ago!

I was first introduced to the brand, when visiting their shop in Borough Market in London with my London partner in crime Mette! We both loved the shop, and we ended up leaving the shop, with pockets full of small samples of various products! Best sales trick ever, now I'm in love with their products and couldn't imagine a day with out them!

Besides the luxury smooth feeling to the skin, I also enjoy the scent. Especially now on a dark cold winter morning, I feel, they lift me up and simply walk out the door feeling great!

My collection so far is the face cleanser, face lotion, body lotion, hand soap and hand cream.

My Aesop collection!

Aesop is an Australian company, and the name originates from the story teller Aesop. Their products are natural, and I have a feeling, that we will be together for a long time! There are endless products in their range, and I can't wait to explore them all!

Find a shop near you, they are all really well designed and worth the visit. I only have one warning, don't go, if you are not prepared to spend a little extra! The products are not cheap, but they last for a long time, and they are value for money! In Copenhagen you can get the hand lotion in Holly Golightly, which is always worth a visit, if you are in town! Most of the skin products are available on the shop's Danish website.

X-mas is around the corner and Aesop makes great gifts for both men and women, they will not disappoint you, plus the packaging design is really nice and cool!

Happy feel good x-mas skin to everyone!

Enjoy,

Alexander Wang peep toe heels

My new Black peep toe heels...

Work is taking more of my time than expected, but I finally had a chance to shop a new pair of Black heels on line, and I ended up getting a bargain on the Outnet!
They had an extra 25% off, on top of the already 50% discounted prices, so they just fit my budget...

I wanted a pair of Black heels for work and for going out, so my fashion shoe radar fell in love with an amazing pair from Alexander Wang.

A.W. is one of the coolest New York designers at then moment! I wish he was around, when I lived in the city. He has a fantastic signature style, and I love his choices of using Japanese fabrics, which I actually also buy through my job! Hopefully my next buy will be some of his clothing, which is stunning and timeless...check it out on style.com

I would wear my new Black heels with my soft Dries Van Noten dress with my Black Helmut Lang Blazer for evening or presentation at work.

For a more casual day at work I would wear them with my Black Acne jeans, Black tank top from All Saints and again Black Helmut Lang blazer! Jewellery would be my new Isabel Marant earrings!

I have worn my heels in the house already, they are so comfortable! Plus they will look trendy for many years!

Thank you Alexander and the Outnet! Bargains are as addictive as designer labels!

I couldn't resist sharing the Outnet's fun stickers, that they put on your item, making it feel like a present from yourself!

I'm happy and can't wait to wear them with my outfits out or to work very soon!

Enjoy,

Pernille
